The First Session
The first session is, above all, a meeting.
You come as you are, with nothing to prepare in advance.
It is a time to get to know each other,
to welcome your request as it presents itself,
and to begin laying the foundations of the therapeutic support together.
You are welcome to bring whatever is present for you:
a situation, a feeling, a difficulty, or a question.
We take the time to explore what brings you here,
with respect for your pace,
without expectations of performance or imposed objectives.
Subsequent Sessions
The sessions that follow unfold in continuity with this first meeting.
They start from what is present for you at the time of the session: a lived situation, an emotion, a bodily sensation, a relationship, or a question.
The work is built step by step, together, at your own pace,
with careful attention to feelings, sensations, emotions,
and to what unfolds within the relationship.
Gradually, this support allows for deeper self-understanding,
greater clarity, and a more accurate adjustment to yourself, to others, and to your environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Need to Be Unwell to Start Therapy ?
No. It is not necessary to be “at your worst” to begin therapy.
Many people seek support when they sense a feeling of misalignment, stress, inner fatigue, a blockage, a rupture, or simply the need to take stock.
Therapy can be a space for prevention as much as for support, understanding, and gaining clarity.
What If I Don’t Know Exactly Why I’m Coming ?
This is very common, and completely okay.
It is not always possible to put precise words on what we are going through.
Therapy offers a space to explore this together, gently, starting from what is present,
without needing to understand everything or explain everything from the outset.
Will I Have to Talk About Things I Don’t Want to Address?
No. You remain free at every moment.
You choose what you wish to share, when you wish to share it, and how.
Respect for your pace and your limits is an integral part of the therapeutic support.
Can I Stop Therapy at Any Time?
Yes. You are free to stop the therapeutic support at any time.
Therapy is not a binding commitment, but a space you choose to engage with
for as long as it feels useful and meaningful for you.
It is always possible to talk about it together, to bring understanding to what is taking place,
and to bring the work to a thoughtful and appropriate close, if you wish.
Are Online Sessions as Effective as In-Person Sessions ?
Yes. The quality of the relationship and of presence remains the same.
Online sessions allow you to be supported from your own home,
within a familiar setting, and are very well suited for many people,
both in France and internationally.
How Do I Know If Gestalt Therapy Is Right for Me ?
The relationship is central in therapy, and it is important that everyone feels comfortable.
This is why I offer an initial exchange, without commitment, to get to know each other, ask your questions,
and sense whether we can work together, in trust.
